Job summary

Domino Printing Sciences is seeking a Procurement Contracts Manager in the UK (Cambridge or Liverpool) to lead contract drafting, review and negotiation across multiple jurisdictions. You will work with legal, finance and operations to ensure compliant, value-driven contracts and manage the full lifecycle.

The role requires strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes and supplier governance, with a focus on risk mitigation, cost savings and performance.

Qualifications

• A degree in Business, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Significant experience in contract management, procurement, or commercial management with a strong track record of negotiating complex supplier agreements.
• Strong knowledge of UK contract law and commercial terms; international legal or contracting experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are clear, enforceable, and aligned with company policies and objectives.
• Lead and assist other buyers / category managers with commercial negotiations with suppliers and service providers, securing favourable terms that optimise cost savings, pricing, payment terms, and overall value.
• Identify potential risks within contract terms and conditions, proposing amendments to mitigate these risks.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact for contractual discussions, commercial negotiations, and dispute resolution.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, operations, local management teams, as well as development and compliance teams, to gather requirements, ensure alignment, and facilitate contract execution.
• Collaborate with finance teams to analyse cost implications and ensure contract terms are financially beneficial.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting through execution and renewal, ensuring all contracts are appropriately documented and archived.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Monitor contract performance and adherence to terms, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve contract templates, negotiation processes, and overall procurement strategies to enhance efficiency, supply resilience, commercial value, and cost savings.
• Support education and training of the wider Procurement teams towards more self-sufficiency in the management and negotiation of small to mid-size contracts.]
