Job summary

NRG. is seeking an experienced People Partner to join a busy People & Culture team. You will manage a varied employee relations caseload and provide practical, commercially focused HR advice to managers in a hybrid UK-based setting.

The role requires strong ER experience, UK employment law knowledge, and CIPD qualification or equivalent. This is a temporary assignment for at least three months with a hands-on, impact-driven remit.

Qualifications

• Experience as People Partner or similar with strong employee relations focus.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied employee relations caseload across disciplinary, grievances, sickness absence, performance management and investigations.
• Provide clear, practical advice and guidance to managers on employment legislation, HR policies and procedures.
• Support formal employee relations meetings, including preparing documentation, correspondence and outcome letters.
• Advise on organisational change, restructures and TUPE processes where required.
• Build strong working relationships with managers and key stakeholders to support the effective resolution of people matters.
• Coaching and supporting managers to develop their confidence in managing employee relations issues.
• Maintaining accurate case management records, identifying trends and escalating potential risks where appropriate.
• Supporting the review and development of HR policies, procedures and guidance.
• Contributing to wider People & Culture initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
