About The Role

Atlas Workplace Services has a great opportunity for a Contract Manager, with experience in Hard & Soft Services, to join our team working remotely with regular travel to our clients' sites across London.

The Contract Manager is responsible for the P&L, operational management, and delivery of a range of facilities management services across the client's estate. This includes ensuring the portfolio is safe, fit for purpose, fully operational, and meets client and customer expectations, along with maintaining high standards of service associated with Atlas Workplace Services. Responsibilities also include overseeing customer interfaces and promoting a positive image of the Atlas business.

Working with Account Managers and the Engineering team, you will ensure efficient, cost-effective solutions are achieved across all disciplines. You will manage operational performance, drive utilization and productivity improvements, and achieve key performance indicators across the contract portfolio.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Operational delivery of M&E services for the national property portfolio under the client’s account.
  2. Maintaining effective and strong client relationships at all levels.
  3. Full P&L responsibility, including all variable and project works.
  4. Ensuring contract compliance and timely delivery of all contractual obligations.
  5. Ensuring statutory compliance and addressing remedial actions across buildings.
  6. Embedding Group Health & Safety policies into daily operations and addressing unacceptable behavior.
  7. Delivering, monitoring, and recording cultural training aligned with Atlas and client business needs.
  8. Identifying training needs and organizing relevant training sessions.
  9. Conducting employee appraisals, personal development plans, and succession planning.
  10. Providing technical advice and engaging specialists or subcontractors as needed.
  11. Utilizing reports and data for sound business decisions, managing budgets, and controlling costs.
  12. Producing management information for clients and reviewing performance in meetings.
  13. Supporting engineering and compliance teams through effective communication.
  14. Developing stakeholder relationships to implement cost-saving initiatives.
  15. Managing recruitment processes to ensure skilled staffing and low turnover.
  16. Identifying opportunities for growth within the current account.
  17. Ensuring timely submission and accuracy of timesheets and overtime requests.
  18. Performing additional tasks as requested by senior management.
About You
Minimum Qualifications, Certifications, and Training
  • GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Accredited Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely) – desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Proven experience in managing company policies and procedures.
  • Experience in engineering service delivery, including understanding of SFG20 standards.
  • Experience managing multiple-site hard services contracts.
  • Financial control skills, including P&L management.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience managing corporate customers, including report generation and review meetings.
