Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in passive fire protection contracts management.
  • Working knowledge of FIRAS, CDM, Approved Document B, and Building Safety legislation.
  • CSCS card, full UK driving licence.

The Opportunity

As Contracts Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead multiple passive fire protection contracts from mobilisation through to completion
  • Drive quality, compliance, and safety across all works
  • Oversee RAMS, ITPs, QA, site records, and programme delivery
  • Provide on-site technical leadership, mentoring, and training
  • Act as the key client contact and ensure expectations are consistently exceeded
  • Collaborate with surveyors, commercial managers, and delivery teams
  • Support business development and help shape how we grow

This is a national role with site visits and occasional overnight stays — best suited to someone hands-on, collaborative, and trusted in front of clients.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in passive fire protection contracts management
  • Working knowledge of FIRAS, CDM, Approved Document B, and Building Safety legislation
  • HNC/HND/Degree in construction or equivalent (NVQ 6/7)
  • CSCS card, full UK driving licence
  • IFE Level 2/3 in Passive Fire Protection (preferred or working towards)
  • Strong leadership, technical, organisational, and client-facing skills
  • Passion for doing things right — first time, every time
