SSE plc is seeking a Contract Manager to join our Procurement & Commercial team, supporting the RIIO T3 Onshore Capital Delivery programme. You will negotiate terms for major projects, manage costs and engage stakeholders to ensure value for money and delivery success.
The role requires a Quantity Surveying background with relevant professional membership and NEC experience being advantageous. Flexible working options and a comprehensive benefits package are available.
You’ll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations: Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness, and Perth
£51,600- £77,400 + car /car allowance - if applicable + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Contract Managers to join our Procurement and Commercial (P&C) team supporting the RIIO T3 Onshore Capital Delivery programme.
Reporting to the Senior Contract Manager or Procurement & Commercial Manager, you will provide the necessary pre and post contract procurement and commercial support to some the largest projects within the SSEN Transmission business. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the SSE portfolio and contribute to the continued growth of this area of the business.
This role would someone from a Quantity Surveying background with experience working either Client or Contractor side, no specific experience working in Energy sector is required but would be advantageous.
