As a Thermatic Contract Manager you are a member of an Accounts team. The role of Contract Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services for one or more client contracts, ensuring high standards, compliance, and client satisfaction. The role balances operational oversight with client engagement and may include line management of supervisors and administrative staff. It plays a critical role in supporting service quality, cost control, and the effective use of systems and technology.

Hours & Location of Work:
Main location - Onsite in central London a minimum of 2 days per week with potential for additional on-site days required as further contracts.
Regular hours of work -Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week.Opportunities to work flexibly are available.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Behaviours:
- Solid understanding of technical and/ or soft FM service delivery.
- Knowledge of contract requirements, SLAs, KPIs, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with health and safety legislation (e.g., risk assessments, method statements, permit-to-work systems).
- Working knowledge of CAFM systems for scheduling, job tracking, and reporting.
- Awareness of commercial principles including budgeting, cost control, and invoicing.
- Basic knowledge of digital transformation trends, including automation and AI in FM operations.
- Understanding of social value obligations and sustainability in service delivery.
- Awareness of supply chain processes and subcontractor management
- Experience managing or coordinating FM services across commercial contracts.
- Proven track record of meeting operational KPIs and SLAs.
- Client-facing experience in a service delivery role.
- Competence in using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working understanding of health & safety legislation in FM.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health & safety certification (desirable)
- Experience contributing to system improvements, automation initiatives, or digital change projects.
- Exposure to social value delivery within FM contracts.
- Experience of working within healthcare environment (desirable)
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of FM services across assigned contracts (typically 1–2 clients).
- Act as the main point of contact for the client at an operational level, attending meetings and addressing service issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all service-level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and health and safety regulations.
- Manage and coordinate the work of engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery, ensuring all works have appropriate Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), site access permits, and necessary parts/materials available prior to work commencement.
- Where applicable, line-manage supervisors and/or administrators, providing support, coaching, and guidance.
- Use the CAFM system to manage work orders, monitor performance, and support accurate reporting.
- Monitor costs and resource usage to ensure service delivery within budget and raise any variances.
- Ensure all works are correctly captured, costed, and invoiced, liaising with finance and planning teams to resolve queries.
- Raise and manage POs for works and materials, ensuring timely delivery and accurate financial reconciliation.
- Support the identification and implementation of process improvements, digital tools, and automation where appropriate.
