Job summary

Confero Recruitment Group is recruiting a Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of a major education contract across a large multi-site portfolio in Scotland. Based from the Glasgow office, you will manage service delivery teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure contractual performance against KPIs and SLAs.

You will lead on health and safety, compliance, budgeting, and supplier performance while developing teams to deliver exceptional service standards for the education sector.

Confero Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading global Facilities Management provider to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of a major education contract across a large multi-site portfolio in Scotland.

The Role

As Account Manager, you will have full responsibility for the operational and contractual performance of a significant education sector contract. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will lead service delivery teams, manage supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of hard FM services across multiple education sites.
• Manage key client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure contractual KPIs, SLAs, and compliance requirements are consistently achieved.
• Oversee health and safety performance, statutory compliance, and safeguarding obligations.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop operational teams to deliver exceptional service standards.
• Monitor and manage subcontractor and supplier performance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
• Support asset management programmes, lifecycle planning, and project delivery.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous Account Manager, Senior Operations Manager, or Contract Manager experience within Facilities Management.
• Proven experience managing hard FM services within a multi-site environment.
• Strong commercial, financial, and contract management skills.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management abilities.
• A strong understanding of health and safety and statutory compliance requirements.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
• Experience within the education sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
