Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in contracts management (grounds maintenance preferred), strong scheduling and budgeting skills, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as Contracts Manager or similar, preferably Grounds Maintenance.
  • Experience delivering multiple contracts to client specifications.
  • Strong ability to schedule and plan PPM cycles.
  • Commercial financial knowledge and budgeting experience.
  • Proven people management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficient with MS Office and internal portals; training available.
  • Full valid UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day running of the contract portfolio in Northern Ireland.
  • Deliver contracts to industry-wide standards including performance and service levels.
  • Manage client relationships and key stakeholders across projects.
  • Lead site teams; ensure health & safety compliance and best practices.
  • Monitor budgets, KPIs and drive financial performance across contracts.

Contracts Manager

Location: Templepatrick, Northern Ireland

Salary: Competitive (can be discussed at next stage of application)

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Working Hours: Mon-Fri between 8:00-17:00 however flexibility may be required due to business requirements

About the role

We currently require a Contracts Manager to manage the day to day running of the contracts in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate would be looking after a large portfolio of our public sector contracts and delivering them to an industry-wide standard, encompassing contract performance, delivery of contract objectives, client relationships, people management, health & safety compliance and financial performance. The role will be based out of our Templepatrick depot but some days you will be expected to travel to client sites around Northern Ireland.

Requirements
  • 5+ years experience as a Contracts Manager or adjacent position (strong preference for experience to be within Grounds Maintenance).
  • Experience with handling the delivery of a large number of contracts and their specifications.
  • Strong experience in scheduling and planning PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) cycles, ensuring all works are delivered in line with client specifications, contractual requirements, and agreed service levels.
  • Commercial financial knowledge and experience in mapping out budgets and meeting client KPIs.
  • Strong people management skills in engaging with employees internally and clients externally.
  • IT proficient - experience with Microsoft Office and internal portals (training will be provided on the latter).
  • A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
