Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee a multi-site cleaning operation across Wales and the South West. You will ensure high service standards, manage client relationships and lead cleaning teams across sites.

The role requires experience in commercial cleaning contract management, strong leadership, and a proactive approach. A full UK driving licence is essential, with shifts 6am–9pm, Monday to Friday. Temporary with permanent potential.

Contract Manager – Contract Cleaning

Location: Wales & South West

Salary: £15.38 – £16.41 per hour + Company Car/Car Allowance + Bonus

Holiday: 35 days including Bank Holidays

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Contract Manager to join a leading commercial cleaning and facilities services provider.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Manager to take responsibility for a multi-site key account across Wales and the South West, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Our client is an award-winning international provider of commercial cleaning, security and integrated soft services, working with some of the UK's leading FM organisations.

The Role:

As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple cleaning sites, ensuring high standards of service while maintaining strong relationships with both clients and employees.

You will take ownership of cleaning operations, including:

• Managing multiple sites across Wales and the South West
• Regular client liaison and site visits
• Monitoring cleaning standards and client satisfaction
• Managing recruitment, inductions and staff training
• Carrying out regular site audits and Health & Safety checks
• Ensuring sufficient staffing, equipment and cleaning supplies are available
• Managing client queries and complaints effectively
• Supporting disciplinary and grievance processes
• Providing ongoing coaching, guidance and development to cleaning teams
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous experience managing commercial cleaning contracts/accounts
• Experience managing teams across multiple sites
• Strong recruitment, onboarding and training experience
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• A good understanding of Health & Safety
• A proactive and motivated management style
• The ability to manage and resolve issues effectively
• A full clean driving licence
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6am and 9pm, Monday to Friday
