Daniel Owen Ltd. is recruiting a Contracts Manager to oversee responsive repairs and voids within a Social Housing setting. You will lead Site Managers, manage subcontractors, and ensure delivery to high standards, on time and within budget.
You will drive compliance, health and safety, and continuous improvement while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering social value in communities served.
Location: Yeovil office, covering Bristol, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to manage the delivery of responsive repairs and void works within a Social Housing environment. You will lead a team of Site Managers, ensuring contracts are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You will oversee responsive repairs and void works, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and Health & Safety. The successful candidate will be client‑facing and have extensive experience managing responsive repairs and voids within Social Housing. The team currently delivers approximately 65 responsive repairs per day and 12 void properties per week, providing a varied role with the opportunity to make a significant impact.
You will also support continuous improvement, build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and help deliver social value within the communities served.
You will be an experienced Contracts Manager with a background delivering responsive repairs and void works within Social Housing. You will have experience managing internal and external works, leading teams, and delivering high‑quality services for customers and clients. Ideally, you will hold SMSTS or an equivalent qualification/NVQ. If this has expired, support will be available to renew it. Your experience, knowledge, and ability to successfully manage contracts are key.
