Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is supporting a leading manufacturing site in Nottingham to hire an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on a contract basis. You will react to breakdowns, fault-find electrically and mechanically, and work with other departments to improve site performance.

The successful candidate will hold a formal electrical or mechanical engineering qualification, have strong FMCG electrical experience, and be skilled in controls, fault analysis and PLC fault finding, with experience in both

Qualifications

Formal electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.
Strong electrical experience in FMCG environment.
Knowledge of controls, fault analysis and providing solutions.
Experience of reactive and preventive maintenance.
Good automation hardware and software understanding.
Strong organisation and communication in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

React to breakdowns electrically and mechanically; fault finding and improvements.
Collaborate with other departments to improve the site.
Attend meetings, analyse data and implement equipment performance improvements.
Involve in engineering install and commissioning projects.
PLC fault finding.
