Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd is seeking two experienced Maintenance Engineers with a strong electrical bias to join a busy manufacturing site in Scunthorpe on a contract basis. The role requires fault-finding and maintenance of electrical systems, PLC controls, and relays, with some mechanical maintenance support.

You will work across 06:00–14:00, 08:00–16:00, and 13:00–21:00 shifts, 40 hours per week, on-site. Immediate start. Prior FMCG or food production experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical maintenance experience.
• Industrial machinery fault-finding experience.
• PLC fault-finding / controls experience.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, relays and contacts.
• Mechanical maintenance experience.
• Practical pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge.
• Manufacturing, FMCG, food production or similar experience.
• Relevant engineering qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Electrical fault-finding and maintenance.
• PLC fault-finding and controls.
• Working with relays, contacts and associated electrical equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing machinery breakdowns.
• Supporting mechanical maintenance activities.
• Working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
• Responding to production breakdowns.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
