Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a contract position in Leicester. The role covers both electrical and mechanical breakdown responses, fault finding and data-driven improvements to equipment performance.

You will collaborate across departments, participate in projects for installs and commissioning, and work with automation hardware and controls to ensure safe, reliable operation in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Formal electrical or mechanical engineering qualification is required.
• Experience fault finding and fault diagnosis in electrical systems.
• Knowledge of automation hardware and software is essential.

Responsibilities

• React to breakdowns electrically and mechanically and fault-find.
• Work with other departments to improve site operations.
• Attend meetings, analyse data and improve equipment performance.
• Participate in projects for engineering install and commissioning.
• Perform PLC fault finding and root-cause analysis.
