Job summary

JobsTrackR in Scunthorpe is seeking two experienced contract Maintenance Engineers with a strong electrical bias to support a busy manufacturing site. The role focuses on electrical fault-finding, PLC controls, and both electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment.

The contract runs for 40 hours per week, with a range of shifts and an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have solid electrical maintenance background, PLC fault-finding capabilities, and experience with

• Strong electrical maintenance experience.

• Manufacturing, FMCG, food production or similar experience.
• Relevant engineering qualifications.

Contract Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias

-£35–£40 per hour Ltd
-Immediate Start
-40 hours per week Monday–Friday

We’re looking for 2x experienced Maintenance Engineers to join a busy manufacturing site in Scunthorpe on a contract basis.

The role will suit an engineer with a strong electrical bias, ideally with good PLC fault-finding and controls experience, who is also comfortable supporting mechanical maintenance when required.

The Role

• Electrical fault-finding and maintenance
• PLC fault-finding and controls
• Working with relays, contacts and associated electrical equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing machinery breakdowns
• Supporting mechanical maintenance activities
• Working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
• Responding to production breakdowns
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

Shift Pattern

The site operates a rotating shift pattern:

• 06:00–14:00
• 08:00–16:00
• 13:00–21:00
