A design consultancy is seeking a full-time civil engineer to work on a range of infrastructure projects. The role requires a strong background in drainage, road design, and utilities coordination. Candidates should have experience with Microdrainage, AutoCAD, and a relevant degree in civil engineering. Qualifications

• A technical background in drainage, roads, earthworks and utilities co-ordination.
• Experience with Microdrainage, AutoCAD, SuDS & Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team or on large international projects.
• Desire to work towards professional registration with a relevant institution.

Overview

This is the perfect full-time contract role with a design consultancy who has an increase in workload. This is a great opportunity to work on a wide range of infrastructure projects such as residential and commercial developments, retail, education, and leisure.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking design from feasibility and option studies through to detailed civil engineering design, striving to see that service and project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget
• Preparation of reports to support planning applications and design stage deliverables
• Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work
• Prepare technical specifications
• Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.

Qualifications
