Job summary

Spectrum IT is seeking an experienced Citrix Infrastructure Engineer to support a short-term project for an established technology organisation. The role is remote with an initial 1 month contract and scope to extend, outside IR35, start asap.

You will join a focused team to design, configure and implement Citrix NetScaler and ADFS, providing hands-on engineering services and ensuring secure access across the Citrix environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building or implementing new Citrix environments.
• Strong knowledge of Citrix NetScaler and ADFS required.
• Ability to work independently within an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and implementation of new on-premise Citrix environments.
• Configure and support Citrix NetScaler / NetScaler Gateway.
• Assist with the implementation of ADFS and federated authentication.
• Support authentication, federation and secure access across Citrix environment.
• Troubleshoot Citrix, authentication and connectivity issues.
• Support configuration of the wider Citrix infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Internal Infrastructure and Hosting teams.
• Take ownership of technical delivery within a short project timeframe.

Job description

Spectrum IT are looking for an experienced Citrix Infrastructure Engineer to support a client on a short-term infrastructure project for an established technology organisation. The client is currently setting up new on-premise environments and requires additional technical resource to support the design, configuration and implementation of key Citrix and authentication technologies.

This is an initial 1 month contract with scope to extend and has been deemed OUTSIDE IR35. This is a fully remote working role with the client needing someone who can start asap. This role will have a 1 stage Teams video call interview process.

Previous experience building or implementing new Citrix environments would be particularly useful. This is a short, hands-on project where the client requires someone capable of becoming productive very quickly. You should be an experienced Citrix specialist who is comfortable working independently within an existing engineering / infrastructure team, troubleshooting technical issues and supporting the delivery of new environments. Overall the requirement is for someone who can join quickly, work independently and provide hands‑on engineering services across Citrix NetScaler and ADFS.
