Job summary

LA International requires a 3rd Line Engineer with Citrix experience for an on-site contract in Preston. The role demands security clearance (SC) and falls Inside IR35. Candidates should bring strong hands-on knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler ADC and WEM, plus Windows Server, AD, and FSLogix.

Desirable skills include ITIL process understanding and experience with VMware/HyperV/XenServer. Applicants may be asked to clear UK security checks which can take time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Third Line Support role.

• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and FSLogix.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise support models.

Job description

We have a new requirement for a 3rd Line Engineer with Citrix experience to work for a client of ours based in Preston.

All work will be completed on-site in Preston and an active SC is required.

This contract role has been determined as falling Inside IR35.

Skills required:

• Proven experience within a Third Line Support role
• Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler ADC, and Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and FSLogix.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise support models.
• Operations - VMWare, HyperV, XenServer, Invanti
• Desirable to have a working knowledge of supporting UK Secure Paradox solution (Becypt).
• Analytics, specifically Systrack / Nexthink (Non Essential - training provided).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems, including, Windows 10 & Win11
