Evri Group is the UK’s premier parcel delivery business, uniting four distinct brands—Evri, Evri Premium, a network of DHL, UK Mail and Irish e-commerce specialist Coll-8 to deliver more than 1 billion parcels and letters annually across the UK and to over 200 global destinations. With 12,000 colleagues, 30,000 couriers and drivers, 8,000 vehicles, and a nationwide network of hubs, depots and fulfilment centres, we combine over 50 years of expertise with the scale and flexibility to support everyone from casual senders to SMEs and major retailers. Driven by our friendly, ambitious and diverse people, we are passionate about delivering exceptional service and offer exciting opportunities across the Evri Group.

Continuous Improvement Manager – Agile
Help shape a culture of continuous improvement across Evri

At Evri, we’re committed to creating responsible, reliable delivery experiences for our customers and clients. Behind that commitment are our people, and our Depot Operations teams play a vital role in making it happen.

We’re looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team and help drive standardisation, operational excellence and a genuine culture of continuous improvement across our depot network.

If you’re passionate about improving processes, developing people and turning insight into measurable results, this could be the role for you.

The role

As Continuous Improvement Manager, you’ll help drive the consistent implementation and embedding of Bluebook Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) across our depot operation.

You’ll ensure key processes are clearly documented, colleagues understand and follow best-practice ways of working, and teams are trained to the required standard. You’ll also play a key role in introducing and embedding new processes and initiatives across the network.

This is a field-based role, so flexibility is essential. You’ll travel between depots and may occasionally need to stay away from home, ensuring you’re where the greatest improvement opportunity or operational requirement exists.

What you’ll be accountable for
  • Driving standardisation: Work with depot teams to build a strong culture of best practice and consistent processes across the operation.
  • Improving processes: Use your operational experience to review and challenge existing Bluebook practices, ensuring they remain fit for purpose in today’s environment.
  • Embedding best practice: Support the development and documentation of updated Bluebook processes and ensure agreed SOPs are consistently implemented and embedded.
  • Improving performance: Use effective processes, coaching and continuous improvement techniques to support lower-performing depots and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Challenging the status quo: Identify opportunities to improve current ways of working and help managers and colleagues understand the benefits of adopting standardised processes.
  • Delivering measurable results: Demonstrate improvements in operational KPIs against agreed targets and timescales.
  • Coaching and capability: Lead and coach colleagues in Continuous Improvement tools and techniques, helping teams develop the skills to sustain improvements.
  • Supporting change: Work closely with DevOps and Client Development teams to roll out new processes across Depot Operations, ensuring solutions are practical, fit for purpose, tailored to local requirements and fully embedded.
What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who combines strong operational experience with a genuine passion for continuous improvement and developing people.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly between depots, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Proven experience of stakeholder management, particularly within a matrix organisation.
  • Experience using management information (MI) to identify process failures, develop insight and translate findings into clear, practical action plans.
  • A strong professional understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, with demonstrable experience applying and implementing them within a standardised operational environment.
  • A strong track record of motivating, coaching and supporting colleagues to improve performance.
  • The confidence to challenge poor workplace behaviours while role-modelling positive, inclusive and respectful behaviours.
Why this role matters

This isn’t simply about improving processes on paper. It’s about making improvements work in the real world and helping our depots operate more effectively, developing our people and creating consistent experiences for our customers.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a visible impact across the Evri network, working with teams at every level to identify opportunities, solve problems and turn continuous improvement into everyday practice.

Evri Group for everyone

We’recommitted to building a truly inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone can bring – and be – their whole authentic selves.

We’re also on a mission to be the UK’s most accessible delivery business. We’ve partnered with Scope, the leading disability equality charity, to improve deliveries for millions of customers and give extra support to our colleagues and couriers who need it.

Collaboration is key because we work better together. Bring passion, ambition and an open mind, and in return we’ll give you respect, flexibility and a place where you can thrive.
