Job summary
Caterpillar Shrewsbury is seeking a Continuous Improvement & Change Control Lead to champion lean transformation across manufacturing and support functions, build problem-solving capability and drive safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements.
Reporting to the Quality, Process & Safety Excellence Manager, this is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping the site's Continuous Improvement strategy and delivering sustainable business improvements across manufacturing
Qualifications
- Experience leading Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies.
- Proven ability to coach and develop teams to sustain improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the site's Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence programme.
- Manage and develop a team of Continuous Improvement Change Agents.
- Facilitate Lean and business improvement initiatives across the organisation.
- Coach leaders and teams in Lean thinking and structured problem solving.
- Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost and employee engagement.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
