Job summary

Chase Taylor Recruitment Ltd on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their site in Telford. You will own CI initiatives across manufacturing and warehousing, delivering measurable improvements in quality, cost, delivery and safety.

You will lead lean activities (5S, TPM), coach teams in structured problem solving (PDCA), and work to ISO9001/45001/14001 standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in continuous improvement / lean manufacturing.
Strong PDCA problem solving and operations excellence tools.
Ability to challenge existing processes and drive change.
Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities across the site.
Drive shop-floor improvements using 5S, waste elimination, standard work, and TPM.
Deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, and lead times.
Lead projects involving new equipment, processes, and product introduction.
Champion safety, quality, and operational best practice.
Coach and develop teams in CI tools and structured problem solving (PDCA).
Monitor and improve performance against SQDCPE KPIs.
