Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Desford, Leicestershire, is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure materials, processes and products meet company and customer quality standards across projects. You will audit, analyze quality data and support RCCA within a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain the QMS and drive ongoing quality improvement. CPI Black Belt training is provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a QMS environment and applying BIQ or CPI methods.
• Audits across materials, processes and products.
• Ability to review non-conformances and support corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits across materials, processes and products to ensure conformance to standards.
• Review non-conformances, analyse trends and support RCCA with internal teams, suppliers and customers.
• Conduct measurement systems analysis and analyze quality data to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain quality system documentation and records within the QMS.
• Support internal and external audits and close corrective actions.
• Contribute to CPI activities focusing on defect prevention and waste reduction.
