Job summary

Caterpillar Shrewsbury is seeking a Continuous Improvement & Change Control Lead to champion lean transformation across manufacturing and support functions, build problem-solving capability and drive safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements.

Reporting to the Quality, Process & Safety Excellence Manager, this is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping the site's Continuous Improvement strategy and delivering sustainable business improvements across manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience leading Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies.
• Proven ability to coach and develop teams to sustain improvements.

Caterpillar Shrewsbury is looking for a Continuous Improvement & Change Control Lead to champion continuous improvement across our operation, build problem-solving capability and lead initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery and cost performance. Reporting to the Quality, Process & Safety Excellence Manager, this is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping the site's Continuous Improvement strategy and delivering sustainable business improvements across manufacturing and support functions. A key element of the role is leading a team of Continuous Improvement Change Agents, providing direction, coaching and prioritisation to ensure improvement opportunities are effectively executed and embedded across the organisation. Working closely with operational leaders and support functions, you will identify opportunities to eliminate waste, improve flow, increase productivity and develop a culture where continuous improvement becomes part of everyday work. We're looking for someone who combines strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge with excellent leadership and influencing skills, and who is passionate about developing people, challenging the status quo and delivering measurable business results.,
