G2Legal is recruiting a Contentious Trusts & Probate Senior Associate/Partner for an established East Sussex law firm, offering hybrid working and a supportive, collaborative culture.

You will lead a varied caseload of contentious trusts and probate disputes, advise trustees and executors, develop client relationships, and drive strategic growth of the practice; STEP and/or ACTAPS qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in contentious trusts and probate matters.
• Strong client relationship and business development skills.
• Excellent communication and case management abilities.
• STEP and/or ACTAPS qualifications (or working towards) desirable

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of contentious trusts, wills and probate disputes
• Advise trustees, executors, private individuals, charities and financial institutions
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and professional referrers
• Lead business development and support team growth
