Job description

Safeguard Global is seeking a highly organized, execution-focused, and AI-forward Content Manager to lead content planning, writing, production, and delivery across our global marketing organization.

Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, this individual will own the content calendar and drive the execution of a high-volume content strategy that supports demand generation, brand awareness, sales enablement, and pipeline growth. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires balancing strategic planning with rapid execution across a wide range of content formats, including blogs, webinars, social media posts, white papers, email campaigns, sales collateral, competitive intelligence sheets, and more.

The Content Manager will lead and develop a team of three content professionals, ensuring the team operates efficiently, meets aggressive deadlines, and consistently delivers high-quality, impactful content. The ideal candidate brings experience in the HR industry, proven people management capabilities, exceptional project management skills, and a forward-thinking approach to leveraging AI to accelerate content production and improve team productivity.

This role is built for a content leader who thrives on volume, speed, quality, and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy, Planning & Execution
  • Own and manage the integrated content calendar, aligning priorities, timelines, and deliverables with demand generation campaigns, product marketing initiatives, sales priorities, and broader business objectives.
  • Drive the end-to-end execution of a high-volume content production engine across multiple channels, formats, audiences, and stages of the buyer journey.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of blogs, social media content, thought leadership, white papers, webinars, email campaigns, sales collateral, competitive battlecards, case studies, and other marketing assets.
  • Translate campaign briefs, business priorities, product messaging, and market insights into clear content plans and actionable deliverables.
  • Establish repeatable workflows, production processes, and editorial standards that enable the team to scale content output without sacrificing quality.
  • Balance competing requests and shifting priorities while maintaining visibility into production status, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Team Leadership & Performance
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of three content professionals based in LATAM, providing clear direction, prioritization, feedback, and accountability.
  • Distribute work effectively across the team based on capacity, skills, timelines, and business impact.
  • Set clear expectations for output, quality, turnaround times, and individual performance.
  • Build a collaborative, high-accountability team culture focused on execution, continuous improvement, and meeting ambitious goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team capacity and performance through better processes, skills development, resource allocation, and technology.
AI-Forward Content Production
  • Champion the practical and responsible use of AI tools throughout the content lifecycle to increase productivity, accelerate turnaround times, and expand content output.
  • Implement AI-enabled workflows for research, ideation, outlining, drafting, editing, repurposing, localization, and content optimization.
  • Equip the team with effective AI tools, prompts, templates, and repeatable workflows that improve consistency and reduce manual effort.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose existing content into multiple formats and channels, maximizing the value of every content investment.
  • Maintain strong editorial judgment and quality standards, ensuring AI-assisted content is accurate, differentiated, on-brand, and aligned with Safeguard Global's expertise and messaging.
  • Continuously test and adopt emerging AI capabilities that can improve content operations and team efficiency.
Demand Generation & Sales Alignment
  • Partner closely with the Director of Demand Generation to ensure content priorities support campaign objectives, audience engagement, lead generation, and pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate with demand generation, product marketing, sales, brand, communications, and subject matter experts to deliver relevant, timely content.
  • Develop sales enablement assets, including competitive comparison sheets, battlecards, objection-handling materials, presentations, and customer-facing collateral.
  • Ensure content is tailored to target audiences, buyer personas, industry needs, and stages of the customer journey.
  • Support content distribution and repurposing strategies that extend reach, improve engagement, and maximize campaign performance.
  • Incorporate feedback and performance insights into future content planning and production.
Operational Excellence & Measurement
  • Establish clear processes for intake, briefing, prioritization, review, approvals, and publishing.
  • Track content production volume, on-time delivery, turnaround times, team capacity, and quality.
  • Monitor content performance in partnership with demand generation and use insights to inform future priorities.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks, manage dependencies, and resolve issues that could impact delivery.
  • Communicate progress, risks, resource needs, and results to marketing leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, editorial operations, or a related marketing discipline.
  • Experience in the HR industry is required, ideally within HR technology, HCM, payroll, benefits, talent management, workforce management, employer services, or related B2B solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team, including setting priorities, delegating work, coaching employees, and driving accountability.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume content production and consistently deliver against aggressive deadlines.
  • Experience producing and managing a broad range of B2B marketing content, including long-form and short-form assets, campaign content, and sales enablement materials.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve content production, team productivity, workflow efficiency, and content repurposing.
  • Excellent writing, editing, messaging, and editorial judgment, with the ability to maintain quality and consistency at scale.
  • Experience collaborating with demand generation and sales teams to support campaign execution and business objectives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work across functions, time zones, and geographies.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment where priorities evolve and execution speed matters.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a global or distributed marketing organization.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, content management systems, project management platforms, and digital marketing analytics.
  • Experience developing content for international audiences and coordinating localization or regional adaptation.
  • Understanding of SEO, content distribution, conversion-focused messaging, and demand generation best practices.
  • Experience building scalable content operations and introducing AI-enabled processes within a marketing team.
  • Professional fluency in English; additional language capabilities relevant to LATAM markets are a plus.
Success Measures

Success in this role will be measured by the individual's ability to build a predictable, scalable, and high-performing content operation.

  • Content output: Consistently delivering the volume and mix of content required to support marketing and business priorities.
  • On-time execution: Meeting aggressive deadlines and maintaining a reliable, visible content calendar.

  • Demand generation impact: Supporting campaign execution, audience engagement, lead generation, and sales enablement through relevant content.
  • Operational scalability: Establishing processes that enable Safeguard Global to increase content output while maintaining quality and efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on content leader who knows how to turn ambitious marketing priorities into an organized, high-output production engine. They are comfortable managing people, juggling multiple deadlines, and making smart trade-offs without losing sight of quality or business impact.

They understand the HR landscape, know how to create content that resonates with business audiences, and actively embrace AI as a way to help their team work smarter and faster.
