Job summary

RICS is seeking a Content Lead for Professional Development & Learning to drive the creation and delivery of sector-specific content across multiple channels. You will own the content roadmap for assigned areas, balancing member needs, accuracy, and organisational priorities while ensuring content is delivered, refreshed and optimised for impact.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and managing content across formats and channels.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading with ability to simplify complex information.
• Strong stakeholder management with subject matter experts and contributor networks.
• Experience using CMS platforms and performance data to manage and improve digital content.
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple deadlines and content pipelines.
• Collaborative, proactive and solution‑focused, able to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of content, including commissioning, writing, editing, publishing and ongoing refresh and optimisation.
• Develop and manage content plans across multiple formats, ensuring relevance and quality.
• Build and manage a network of subject matter experts and contributors, ensuring clear briefs, deadlines and high‑quality outputs.
• Manage and continuously improve content hubs and standards‑related pages, ensuring content remains current and engaging.
• Use analytics, SEO and performance data to optimise content discovery, engagement and user experience.
• Operate within editorial governance frameworks, ensuring accuracy, compliance and appropriate sign‑off for all published content.
