Job summary

Brandon James is seeking a Consultant Quantity Surveyor for its Sunderland office. You will manage cost control, procurement and valuations across diverse projects, with full APC/MRICS support and a clear route to progression.

Based from Sunderland with travel across the North East, you will engage from feasibility through to final account, delivering pre and post-contract services in a collaborative consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar construction qualification.
• Around 2-3 years' consultancy or client-side Quantity Surveying experience.
• Knowledge of pre and post-contract cost management.
• Experience with procurement, valuations, cost reporting and contract administration.
• Working knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North East.
• Progress towards MRICS accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost management from feasibility through to final account across multiple sectors.
• Manage procurement, valuations and cost reporting.
• Provide contract administration and Employer's Agent services.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and project teams for high-quality advice.
