Job summary

The Consultant Paediatrician with an interest in Epilepsy will be based at St Helier Hospital, joining the Queen Mary's Hospital for Children service to deliver care across the Merton and Sutton boroughs.

This is a replacement post based at St Helier, contributing to Epilepsy outpatient activity, Complex Epilepsy, and General Paediatrics, with a 1 in 8 on-call commitment and consultant presence 1 in 5 weeks within a dedicated paediatric team.

Qualifications

• Consultant level paediatric clinician with responsibility for epilepsy services.
• Interest in epilepsy management including outpatient activity and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive clinical service to paediatric patients.
• Contribute to Epilepsy and General Paediatric outpatient activity.
• Manage and participate in on-call duties (1 in 8) and 1 in 5 week consultant coverage.
