We are seeking a dedicated consultant with a commitment to excellence in Geriatrics to join a proactive team renowned for its clinical reputation. The department offers a wide range of specialty and sub-specialty services, emphasizing collaboration and continuous improvement in care for elderly patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining a safe, effective geriatrics service aligned with Trust and Network goals.
• Provide diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illnesses in elderly patients.
• Cover colleagues' absences and participate in out-of-hours duties, including on-call rotations for General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.
• Contribute to service development, business planning, and medical education at undergraduate, postgraduate, and national levels.
• Engage in medical audits, Clinical Governance, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Assume managerial responsibilities, including budget oversight where applicable.
