Job summary

This 12-month sessional post is for an experienced Consultant Dermatologist working on 2WW and General Dermatology clinics through 18 Week Support, an insourcing provider delivering extra NHS capacity across multiple NHS sites. Entry requires GMC registration on the Specialist Register in Dermatology.

The role involves assessing and managing patients on skin cancer pathways, developing treatment plans, and ensuring thorough clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• GMC registration on Specialist Register in Dermatology is required.
• Previous NHS clinical experience is essential.
• Experience delivering 2WW and/or General Dermatology clinics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients on 2WW and General Dermatology pathways.
• Carry out comprehensive dermatological examinations and clinical assessments.
• Assess and manage patients with suspected skin cancer where appropriate.
• Develop and communicate treatment and management plans.
