Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to deliver specialized 2WW and General Dermatology clinics within NHS services. You will work with experienced clinical teams to reduce waiting times and provide patient-centred care across multiple NHS sites.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with Specialist Register in Dermatology.
• Previous NHS clinical experience.
• Experience delivering 2WW and/or General Dermatology clinics.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering safe, effective and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality dermatology clinics, including 2WW and General Dermatology pathways.
• Assess, diagnose and manage patients across 2WW and General Dermatology.
• Undertake comprehensive dermatological examinations and clinical assessments.
• Assess and manage patients with suspected skin cancer where appropriate.
• Develop and communicate appropriate treatment and management plans.
• Provide specialist clinical advice and guidance to patients and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and communicating outcomes appropriately.
• Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
