Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking an experienced Consultant Dermatologist to lead and deliver high-quality Two-Week Wait clinics, supporting NHS pathways nationwide. You will work with a dynamic clinical team led by Clinical and Nurse Leads, focusing on timely access to dermatology care.

The role involves assessing and managing a wide range of skin conditions, including suspected skin cancers, developing tailored treatment plans, and providing expert advice to patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• As a GMC-registered Consultant Dermatologist, you will lead 2WW clinics.
• Strong background in General Dermatology and skin cancer pathways.
• Excellent diagnostic, communication and clinical decision-making skills.
• Passion for patient-centred care and service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver high-quality 2WW clinics.

Job description

We’re seeking experienced Consultant Dermatologists to support our busy Two-Week Wait (2WW) clinics, working with a dynamic and supportive clinical team led by experienced Clinical and Nurse Leads at 18 Week Support.

As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will:

• Lead and deliver high-quality 2WW clinics
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions, including suspected skin cancers
• Develop and communicate tailored treatment plans
• Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to patients and colleagues
• Collaborate with specialist nurses, fellow consultants, and the wider MDT
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and communication of results
• Support continuous service development and quality improvement

Qualifications:
