The role involves leading the Health Physics section, providing ionising and non-ionising radiation protection services, and Medical Physics Expert services in Diagnostic Radiology. The department is part of the Department of Clinical Physics and Bioengineering, one of the largest in the UK, serving eight Health Boards in Scotland.
