Job summary

Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals Group at Pilgrim hospital is recruiting a Consultant Anaesthetist to deliver high-quality anaesthetic care. The role will operate across a 7‑day model with cross-site flexible working and potential part-time arrangements to suit service needs.

The post is in an accredited Department of Anaesthesia, with responsibilities spanning perioperative care, teaching, and ongoing service development to meet growing demand.

Qualifications

• Consultant anaesthetist role within a Royal College of Anaesthetists accredited department.
• Part-time hours will be considered to balance service needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultant anaesthetic services across a 7-day model.
• Emergency and elective work including weekend commitments as required.
• Support perioperative pathways and teaching, research and training as appropriate.
• 1:13 rota with 1.63 programmed activity plus a 3% supplement.
