Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist to join our established team at Fairfield General Hospital. The post holder will provide specialist anaesthetic care, support service development and participate in the delivery of a wide range of procedures.

We require full GMC registration, a valid licence to practise, and Specialist Register in Anaesthesia, or be within 6 months of CCT.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration and a valid licence to practise.
• Be on the Specialist Register for Anaesthesia, or within 6 months of CCT.
• Expertise in upper & lower limb blocks and ENT anaesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist anaesthetic care across elective and emergency cases.
• Contribute to service development and multi-site coverage.
• Deliver direct clinical care (DCC) at one or more NCA sites.
