Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting on behalf of a supportive Alternative Provision in Solihull for a Construction Teacher to deliver practical construction lessons to 11-16 students with SEMH needs. You will use hands-on activities to develop practical skills, promote safe working practices and help learners gain meaningful qualifications while working with support and pastoral staff.

QTS or relevant construction teaching qualifications with teaching or training experience are required; the role offers

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant construction qualifications with teaching or training experience.
• Industry experience across construction trades.
• Experience supporting young people with SEMH or additional needs.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to motivate disengaged learners through practical learning.

Responsibilities
