Job summary

Novus, the LTE Group prison education provider, is hiring a Construction Teacher at HMP Five Wells in Wellingborough. The role is permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week, delivering engaging construction lessons to learners in custody and supporting their progression.

You will hold a teaching qualification and a Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualification, strive to meet targets, produce timely reports, and work collaboratively in a dynamic, supportive environment with DBS checks and

• Have previous track record showing achievement of quality targets
• Have successfully produced accurate and timely reports
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Can motivate and enthuse learners
• Have organisational skills to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets
• Demonstrate positive team working

We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Five Wells, working as a Construction Teacher. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

HMP Five Wells is a Category C prison that is based in Wellingborough. Built in 2022, and costing £253m, this state of the art prison accommodates a male prison population. Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:
