Job summary

Referment is hiring an experienced Recruitment Resourcer to support its in-house Talent team in East London, focusing on sourcing for major UK construction and infrastructure projects. You will engage with hiring managers, build pipelines, and move candidates through screening and interviews to onboarding.

The role covers high-volume and urgent campaigns, direct sourcing, and proactive headhunting across skilled trades, labour, plant operators and site professionals.

Qualifications

• Prior recruitment or resourcing experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering.
• Experience sourcing skilled trades, plant operators, supervisors, or site-based professionals.
• Experience working in-house or in recruitment agency seeking internal Talent team.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and headhunt proactively.
• Comfort working in a project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking and direct approaches
• Building talent pools for current and future project requirements
• Screening candidates against experience, qualifications and availability
• Supporting both high-volume and urgent recruitment campaigns
• Partnering directly with operational managers to understand upcoming hiring needs
• Helping reduce agency reliance through proactive direct sourcing
• Supporting interviews, onboarding and pre-employment checks
