Job summary

Rullion Ltd near Whitehaven is seeking a Sustainability Manager for a permanent role. You will develop and implement energy management and carbon reduction plans, ensuring ISO 50001 compliance and supporting the client’s Sustainability Plan across projects and bids.

You will lead stakeholder engagement with design teams, supply chain, and regulatory bodies to drive continuous improvement and sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

Experience of sustainability issues in construction and energy management.
Degree level qualification preferred; working towards ISEF membership (or similar).
Good understanding of carbon reduction planning and ISO 50001.
Experience within the Nuclear industry.
Eligible to work in the UK and able to obtain Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop project-specific sustainability management plans aligned to client strategy.
Coordinate with site teams and supply chain to meet sustainability objectives on time.
Create communication tools to inform clients and stakeholders about sustainability issues and performance.
Support data collection and reporting for energy and GHG emissions.
Identify opportunities to deliver value through sustainable solutions and innovations.
Assist designers and engineers to adopt sustainable materials and practices.
