Job summary

Ramboll, a global design, engineering and consultancy company, is seeking a Senior/Principal Sustainability Consultant (Carbon) in the United Kingdom. You will lead sustainability projects across buildings, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver LCAs, BREEAM and decarbonisation strategies.

You will guide projects from design through construction, engage with clients, and mentor junior staff while contributing to Ramboll's mission of delivering sustainable change across the built

Qualifications

• A relevant degree and experience delivering sustainability projects within the Buildings sector.
• Strong track record across design and construction phases.
• Experience in certifications, LCAs, circular economy and decarbonisation.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead meetings with clients and teams.
• Report writing experience and ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage own workload and deadlines.
• Interest in sharing knowledge to support Ramboll's sustainable change strategy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver embodied carbon calculations, BREEAM and LCA assessments at various design/construction stages.
• Develop Circular Economy Statements and circularity strategies.
• Develop decarbonisation strategies for buildings.
• Support on sustainable certification projects (BREEAM, HQM, DREAM, WELL, LEED, etc).
• Host workshops and presentations with clients, design teams and planners.
• Analyse project data from project teams and prepare technical reports.
• Contribute to internal tools development and research.
• Support training and growth of junior team members.
• Manage project budgets, timeframes and deliverables to ensure high quality work.
