Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Sustainability Lead to drive the environmental strategy on a landmark advanced manufacturing project in Somerset. You will work with project leadership, operations, clients and suppliers to embed sustainable practices across the full construction lifecycle and ensure carbon reduction targets are met.

This is an opportunity to join a leading international general contractor delivering one of the UK's largest and most technically complex advanced manufacturing projects.

Working on a landmark project in Somerset, you will play a key role in driving sustainability initiatives across the full construction lifecycle, ensuring ambitious environmental targets are achieved whilst embedding sustainable practices throughout project delivery.

This business has an impressive pipeline of major projects across the UK and Europe, creating genuine opportunities to progress into senior sustainability leadership positions on future flagship developments.

As Sustainability Lead, you will work closely with project leadership, operational teams, clients, consultants and the supply chain to ensure sustainability is integrated into every stage of project delivery, supporting environmental compliance, carbon reduction and responsible construction practices.

Your Role as Sustainability Lead Will Include:

Leading the sustainability strategy across a major construction project.
