Job summary

ERM is seeking Site Safety Supervisors in Allentown, PA to lead a safety team on construction activities, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and ERM standards.

This full-time role (70 hours/week, 1 year, extendable) focuses on safety plans, training, inspections, and incident investigations for heavy equipment projects, with a strong emphasis on risk control and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of construction safety experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
• Certifications such as CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30 required.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and risk assessments for heavy machinery and lifting activities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain safety records.
• Provide safety orientation and toolbox talks for workers.
• Manage emergency preparedness and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors on safety matters.
• Oversee equipment safety and PPE usage.
