Job summary

ERM is hiring Site Safety Supervisors in Allentown, PA to provide on-site support for our manufacturing client. You will lead a safety team for construction activities and ensure health and safety compliance with OSHA and company standards.

This full-time, 1-year limited-term role requires a minimum of 7 years in construction with heavy equipment experience and strong leadership. You will develop safety plans, conduct inspections, provide training, and coordinate with project managers to promote

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of construction experience with heavy equipment and supervisory or leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• Industry certifications such as BCSP CSP/CHST or OSHA Safety programs are essential.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1926) and best practices for heavy equipment and electrical safety.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce site safety plans, programs, and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and risk assessments for heavy machinery and lifting activities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain safety records.
• Provide training and safety orientations for workers and subcontractors.
• Manage equipment safety inspections and ensure only trained personnel operate equipment.
• Oversee PPE usage and safe work practices.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors on safety matters.
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
