Job summary

Errington Legal is seeking a Construction Senior Associate for the Suffolk area with hybrid working. The role involves running your own matters, delivering commercial construction advice to developers and contractors, and actively participating in business development.

You will meet clients in person and remotely, building strong relationships and managing complex matters. The ideal candidate has 8+ years PQE with both contentious and non-contentious construction experience, including

Qualifications

• 8+ years PQE in construction law.
• Experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
• Experience in adjudications and TCC work.

Responsibilities

• Running own matters and assisting others in the department.
• Delivering high quality, commercial advice to developers, main contractors and construction professionals.
• Conducting meetings with clients face to face and remotely.
• Developing opportunities for referral of work and actively participating in business development.

Construction Senior Associate - Suffolk with hybrid working

Client

The Construction team advise on all aspects of construction and act for a wide range of clients, including contractors, sub-contractors, developers, funders, and individuals. They provide high-quality, commercial advice on all aspects of development, from the inception of a project through to its completion.

Role

• Running own matters as well as assisting others in the department with their cases
• Delivering high quality, commercial advice to developers, main contractors, sub-contractors and construction professionals
• Conduct meetings with clients both face to face and remotely
• Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development

You

• 8+ years PQE
• Both contentious and non-contentious construction experience is preferred.
• Experience in contentious construction matters including experience of acting in adjudications and TCC work is required
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
• Strong commercial acumen
