Job summary

AJ Chambers is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join its market‑leading Construction team. The role involves handling a mix of contentious and non‑contentious matters, managing your own caseload and supervising junior lawyers while actively contributing to business development.

The ideal candidate is a qualified solicitor with construction law or construction disputes experience, possessing strong client management skills and a proactive, collaborative approach to growing the practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Construction Law, or Commercial Litigation with construction disputes experience.
• Strong technical, commercial and client management skills.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members.
• Proactive, collaborative and keen to contribute to the growth of the practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of construction matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
• Supervise junior lawyers and provide guidance as part of the team.
• Contribute to business development and ongoing growth of the construction department.
