Job summary

Laing O'Rourke, on behalf of SelectSecurity, are recruiting a project-based security supervisor for our construction project in the Margam area. You will lead the security and gate teams, oversee CCTV, rostering, patrol management and team welfare.

Regular client meetings will review situations and maintain service levels with a strong emphasis on teamwork, morale, and integrity. SIA license and excellent communication are essential to motivate a large on-site team.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within the Security or traffic/gates environment.
• Valid SIA license in either security guarding, door supervisor or close protection.
• Able to deliver training talks & briefings to personnel.
• Able to lead and take responsibility for a large security team on site.
• Strong customer focus and customer service skills.
• Professional demeanor with sound judgement and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security and gate teams on the project, overseeing CCTV, scheduling and rostering of ground personnel, patrol management and team welfare.
• Be the focal point for security & gate teams and conduct regular client meetings to review situations and maintain service levels.
• Develop teamwork on site to maintain high morale through effective motivational methods.
