Job summary

GVR Solutions Ltd is seeking a Trainee Project Manager to join their Essex-based team. The role involves taking responsibility for live construction projects from start to finish, liaising with clients and managing subcontractors to drive progress.

You will oversee programmes, organise materials, monitor costs and ensure safety standards are met across education, healthcare, commercial, and other sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing construction projects through to completion.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing of trades.
• Good commercial awareness with costs, valuations and forecasting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Establish project programmes from the outset, monitor milestones and address delays or risks.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery, coordinating site staff, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Organise materials, plant and subcontract packages to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate trades on site and manage orders to ensure standards and timetables.
• Track project expenditure, valuations, variations and subcontractor payments.
