Job summary

A privately owned Main Contractor operating in the Education, Healthcare and Commercial sectors in Suffolk is seeking a Trainee Design Manager to support Pre-Construction and on-site delivery teams across all RIBA stages. The role welcomes graduates or trainees in architectural, design or engineering disciplines.

You will assist in design coordination, supervise consultants and suppliers, and contribute to the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Either 2+ years experience with design co-ordination, architecture, or architectural technology OR recently graduated with a design or construction related degree or comparable qualification.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous Roles: Junior Design Manager OR Trainee Design Manager OR Assistant Design Co-ordinator OR Assistant Design Coordinator OR Graduate Design Manager.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will assist in the design process throughout the full project lifecycle, including helping supervise consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

Education

Degree in Construction Management/Architecture/Engineering/Architectural Technology or equivalent (HNC/HND/BTEC/NVQ)
