Job summary

KBM Resourcing Ltd in Scotland is seeking a Project Manager for a reputable Main Construction Contractor near Tayside. You will oversee site staff and ensure on-time delivery of large-scale projects, guiding, managing and motivating the team. The role requires demonstrable project management experience in construction, CSCS card, and a track record of meeting deadlines. Desirable qualifications include SMSTS, First Aid, and related degrees.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable Project Management experience within construction.
• CSCS card holder.
• Exceptional communication and motivational skills.
• Strong drive to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project progress and cost control while managing the site team and subcontractors.
• Lead regular meetings including weekly contract, pre-start, technical and progress meetings.
• Promote health and safety practices on site.
• Mentor and train staff as required.
• Develop tender programme into construction programme and determine construction methods.
• Identify and resolve construction problems.
• Carry out and oversee daily site inspections.
• Interact with public and local authorities and NHBC; place relevant orders.
• Investigate delays or accidents and ensure correct procedures.
• Ensure labour and materials for site are adequately overseen.
