Job summary

Kier in Scotland is seeking a Project Manager to lead a new build fire station deliverable in Livingston/Stepps. You will guide project delivery, ensuring safety, quality and timely completion through effective management of people, resources and stakeholder relationships.

The role requires experience in main contracting, strong communication, and appropriate construction qualifications (HND/Degree) with SMSTS/CSCS and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience delivering construction projects in the main contracting environment.
• Ability to manage projects across all phases from tender input to practical completion.
• Strong communication skills; able to chair meetings and produce high-level reports.
• HND or degree in construction; SMSTS, CSCS Card and full driving licence.
• Knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions with strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading and overseeing project delivery; manage teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-safety/quality outcomes.
• Coordinate supply chain, external bodies and internal resources to maintain budgets, programmes and quality to Kier standards.
• Act as main client point of contact; develop relationships and promote opportunities for Kier.
• Implement health, safety and environmental policies across all activities.
• Mentor site teams and support development while managing performance and outputs.
