Job summary
Windsor Forest Colleges Group in Slough and Langley College is seeking a Programme Manager in Construction to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role combines classroom teaching with management responsibility, 37 hours per week, including 18 contact teaching hours split between Plumbing and Carpentry.
The post requires a Level 3 Plumbing qualification, a Level 4 teaching qualification, and Level 2 English and Mathematics.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Plumbing qualification required.
- Minimum Level 4 teaching qualification required.
- Level 2 English and Level 2 Mathematics qualifications.
- Strong FE curriculum planning background.
- Assessor or verifier awards and leadership experience advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Teach Plumbing and Carpentry for 18 hours per week with an equal split.
- Manage team performance through staff reviews and drive KPIs.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Develop curriculum to meet local building sector needs.
- Foster employer, parent and external stakeholder relationships for placements and commercial growth.
